Junior rackets – the perfect start into the world of tennis
There are many tennis rackets for children – you can find classic 23-, 25-, and 26-inch models in almost every sports shop. However, the big difference lies in the details. After all, not every children's racket is truly suitable for providing your child with the best start and the right development in their tennis game.
Why conventional children's rackets are often not ideal
Many children's rackets are made of aluminum. This makes them very light, but:
- They transmit a lot of vibration
- Offer little stability on impact
- Reach their limits quickly as soon as your child starts playing with more precision and power
In addition:
Many models are glued – the frame is made of two parts, which can be identified at the racket throat.
The consequences:
- Poorer power transmission
- Unfavorable vibration dampening
- For children who are already hitting good forehands and backhands, this is simply no longer good enough.
Children need honest, clean feedback from the racket to properly develop technique, timing, and body awareness.
Our solution: myRacket junior rackets
Our children's rackets are made entirely of high-quality carbon –
👉 not glued, but manufactured from a single piece.
For your child, this means:
-
Greater stability in the frame
-
Less vibration at the point of impact
-
Consistent, clear feedback on every shot
This ensures your child develops the right feel for stroke technique, timing, and precision right from the start – the foundation for long-term fun and success in tennis.
The right grip – small hands, big difference
A huge leverage point for technique and health is the correct grip size.
That is why, with our children's rackets, we pay special attention to:
-
Child-appropriate grip sizes that small hands can securely wrap around
- A grip that is not too thick – so your child can swing loosely
- Optional: Advice on which grip fits hand size & playing level
This supports proper technique, a loose swing, and injury prevention from the very beginning.
